Dear Parent:
Today, you are here on our web site because your son or daughter is now entering that stage of young adulthood, becoming a driver. This is a time all parents have put off thinking about until absolutely necessary, many actually dreading it. Finding a reputable driver education school doesn't need to be stressful. Talk to friends and others, whose teen(s) have completed the course.
If their answers are not a strong "yes," you may want to explore other schools. This is your child. "Getting through it, and walking away with a learner permit" is not what will give you peace of mind the first time your teen takes the keys and gets behind the wheel.
Most fatalities and injuries among young drivers are the result of driver inexperience and risky driving behavior. Fortunately, both of these issues can be addressed and significantly reduced, starting with the successful graduation from driver education, parents taking an active role in their teenagers' driver education, and continued driving experience after the permit has been issued.
The above concerns are those in which CMDA bases it's reputation. All instructors are state mandated to complete continued education to maintain their licenses. All too often, it stops there. Through many discussions and meetings over the years, CMDA's instructors, and myself, have worked together to develop ways in which to best communicate to our students, safety strategies to help them learn how to assess situations in advance to minimize risk. Our instructors give your teen a solid base of driving skills he or she needs to take with them after graduation. This is the peace of mind we believe you need when your teen becomes an addition to the drivers in your household.
Thank you for considering our driver education school to meet your teens' driving needs.
